We use stainless steel fittings to build these 4 point lift harness cables. The cable wire is stranded with a plastic vinyl coating. These cables are designed to handle boat/engine packages up to 1000 lbs. If you already have a dinghy and want a cable made you will need to measure the existing cable length or hang your dinghy using rope and measure the length of each of the 3 or 4 ropes depending on whether your using a 3 or 4 point davit system.
