Mitch Bernardo has been a boater for over 20 years. Having owned multiple powerboats ranging from 19' to 42' he has enjoyed both trailer boating and cruising. Currently he owns a 1998 290 Searay Express Cruiser and of course an inflatable! Educated at Cal State Fullerton he earned his Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 1980. Recently he completed his MBA at Pepperdine's Graziadio School of Business. Mitch is married and has two children. He is a member of the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Corona del Mar and the Offshore Cruising Club which has a facility in Lil' Geiger Cove on Catalina Island. Mitch spent the last 25 years working in the office products industry, first with 3M and then with the Xerox Corporation. His passion has always been boating so in 2003 he started Sunset Inflatables. Sunset Inflatables has grown a lot in the last 5 years. It is now a Flagship Dealer for AB making it one of the largest dealers in the U.S. Sunset Inflatables is a platinum dealer for Johnson/ Evinrude outboards. It is also the largest Walker Bay Genesis dealer in California and the newest Avon dealer. In 2007 Sunset Inflatables became Sunset Inflatables and Marine and added the SeaCraft center console fishing boat line.
